| Rosemary Drowns, who taught Modern Problems, was very influential in my life. I went on to become a professional journalist and have spent 23 years covering and writing about problems in society. Ms. Drowns was compassionate, articulate and passionate. Her mantra lives with me to this day: "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.'' | |
